Throughout the year, members of the Society may wish to enter external exhibitions  and competitions.  The aim of this page on the Web site is to keep you up to date with information on classes and closing dates for entries

These may be within the two Photographic Alliance Federations to which the Society belongs  e.g. the East Anglian Federation (EAF) and the North and East Midlands Federation (N&EMPF).  Entries to these external competitions may be on an individual basis or a joint entry from the Society.

We also take part in inter-club competitions (battles) with surrounding clubs - details of which are usually found in the Society's programme of events. Prints and Images will be requested periodically to be considered for selection to represent the Society.

For the individual there are also two tiers of Exhibitions that can be entered those under the patronage of  FIAP - (Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique) - which are open to Photographers from all over the world - and the BPE - (British Photographic Exhibition - Circuit) - which is open to mainly UK based Photographers.

Both these organization offer distinctions which once attained are for life - based on acceptances and awards based upon participation criteria.

There are also those that are organized by the RPS - (Royal Photographic Society) - some are open to all and other for which you have to have membership of the RPS or it Groups.
